Today’s douchebag is Lawrence Pazder. He’s mostly known for his totally bullshit book Michele Remembers in which his idiot patient Michele is “hypnotized” and “recalls” being abused by hundreds of people in ritual satanic practices. Their claims are responsible for the modern satanic panic bullshit and have done countless innocent people harm. Everything from pizzagate to qanon is influenced and inspired by this bullshit.
Don’t get me wrong, this guy has been debunked every way you can imagine but there are still incredibly stupid people who believe this bullshit and harass people because of this belief. The west Memphis three were locked up for years because of this bullshit. This guy made this shit up just because he wanted to bang his patient and came up with this bullshit. He even left his family and married her. Unfortunately he never paid for his crimes and lies before his death.
Just for all the idiots out there, there are no satanic cults sacrificing babies or torturing kids. Hell if you want a religion to hate for hurting people then hate christianity. It’s been used as an excuse for countless violent crimes against people in the US. Hell several serial killers have used it as an excuse for their murders. Real “satanists” are just nerds who do it because they want to rebel against whatever in their lives. Even the Satanic Temple doesn’t actually worship satan, they just consider it a way to rebel against normal religion and secretly hope a pretty girl will show up and talk to them at one of the events.
