I Am Getting Older And Im Getting Better

I feel more and more out of touch with this Facebook reality where being popular or not matters more than being right or wrong.

My mind finds it harder to accept ambiguities. It is getting more rigid. It must be a sign that I getting old.

And I really like this evolution.

Probably it is a sign that people need validation. If they cannot get it in the real world, they go online. And it does not matter now the quality of those friendships. What matters now are the numbers. Firms have been known to hire people based on how many followers they have. This is the world we live in today.

@novembermoon We need validation, true, but our beliefs and behaviour cannot rely on them.

What you say about firms is very scary. It is very sad that we have become just clients or potential clients.

Where can we find a place where relationships are not mere transactions based on how much we give and get in return?
