It fluctuates but deeply I’m good

Thursday evening, I was rushing through an airport when my son texts me to ask if we can talk. It turned out he just wanted to share his story of how he’s figuring out how to eat and sleep better in preparation for his weekend football games. It was the fact that he wanted to share his learning with me that absolutely made my day. As a father of a young man, figuring out his way in the world, it was absolutely amazing to know he wanted to share that and be honest with me. That made me feel like a good parent.

I don’t remember and try to avoid it as much as possible

I am fortunate to have an amazing partner who tells me every day how wonderful I am. There has been many days in the last year that I had lost faith after my concussion.

It was either me or my lingerie that got such a vigorous response last night, 😌😂

Pretty much always I guess! What's not to feel good about? I'm awesome, ask anyone..

Daily, I make it a point to get to that place when I feel otherwise

These days it's getting crazy. One moment I feel great and then out of nowhere I'm miserable.

Most all the time... with moments of doubt thrown in for good measure.

Lately I have ..I think not being on here so much helps that too

Last night when I went out with friends … today I feel heartbroken and annoyed with myself because it doesn’t make me feel productive in a positive way … yet I know this too shall pass 💔

I feel good about myself everyday and since I can remember as a child

That was the last time I stuck up for myself.

Mostly every day! I quit trying to be what others were wanting and just being what I was wanting. I don't care if I grow old alone anymore. I'm happy being me. I have great satisfaction with what I accomplish and I love being outside in my back yard where I made a haven... a place that brings tons of smiles and happiness.
I am not concerned with how others feel about my looks. Takes a load off to just be presentable! lol
