I say yes not because I'm some conspiracy theorist or something, but because since the universe is infinite (just thinking about that makes my brain hurt lol) and since life was able to begin on this planet, with an infinite amount of options for life to occur it's mathematically impossible for it to only happen on one planet. I highly doubt we've actually came in contact with aliens, space travel like that is probably just as impractical for them as it is for us, and considering how far away they are with an infinite amount of space to begin life, they probably haven't discovered us either
