Our kids started their school lives in Montessori programs. Then went on to parochial and/or private schools. Both of which our area has excellent choices. Life skills taught in Montessori are the skills that can propel one through life. Life skills about politeness, how to have 2 way conversations, learning to be helpful and accommodating with others, learning to complete task, and learning through interaction rather than being told what to do and not do. And learning self worth and that everyone learns at a different pace. Learn to be helpful and seek help are important life lessons because we are all members of society and are members of families, neighborhoods, workplaces, etc.
