I’ll have to remember this when my parakeet, Sweet Pea, starts bossing me around again like yesterday. Yelling at me to change the tv channel when the noon news came on, and then saying THANK YOU, OK??? Over and over. I tell her each time that she is not the boss of me and I have the remote and will finish what I want and then it’s her turn to have something different, geez.

@4meAndyou She is but doesn’t say so many complex things like Boo-Boo did. That time when I was making lunch to take to chemo the next day he told me “I will miss you”. He had heard me say a couple hours before that I would make something for chemo the next day so he knew why I was making it. And the next evening when I was washing dishes after dinner he said “I missed you.” That little bird had a big heart.
