I want to say and believe love but not sure it's true. It sounds good on paper, but look at the wars and fightings, shootings and murder, etc., in the world. Hate has created and toppled people, countries, groups, society, religion and history for all of humanity's history. Sometimes love causes hate. Hatred is a powerful emotion and it's dangerous.
Khaira · 36-40, F
@Magenta at last a different answer, and a good one too!
Without being overly optimistic I would probably say love is stronger because it tends to give a person the will to go on, whereas hate tends to burn a person out. Hate has that crescendo that leaves them crashed. Love is enduring.
Khaira · 36-40, F
@SinlessOnslaught so what would you do when you hate someone?
@Khaira There are certain things I get very angry about and I might even say I hate the person who caused them. All we can do is move on and distract ourselves.
Bowenw · 61-69, M
That is a good question. I think love is stronger because true love is hard to find and not something people want to let go.
Khaira · 36-40, F
@Bowenw what is true love?
Bowenw · 61-69, M
@Khaira “ True love is a deep, genuine connection characterized by mutual respect, trust, and the ability to be your true self with another person. It involves unconditional support and acceptance, allowing both partners to thrive individually and together.”
Forgiveness... sometimes, it's easier to move forward without the weight of the past holding you down.
Khaira · 36-40, F
@HootyTheNightOwl this is true
Achelois · F
@Khaira

Because it keeps you in a lower state of energy, while love raises you to a higher energy 💫✨
Khaira · 36-40, F
@Achelois i see.. now i get it

pdockal · 56-60, M
@Khaira

The most famous war attributed to love (or lust/passion) is the Trojan War, sparked by Paris of Troy taking Helen, wife of Menelaus, to Troy, leading to a massive Greek coalition seeking to retrieve her, though divine meddling and honor were major factors. While not a direct "love" cause, the romance between Antony and Cleopatra escalated Roman politics, leading to civil war and the end of the Roman Republic, with Octavian (Augustus) using propaganda against their relationship
Khaira · 36-40, F
@pdockal i see.. this is so informative
pdockal · 56-60, M
@Khaira

It's history

But love is the most powerful emotion
Reject · 31-35, M
Hate is stronger in the short term, but love is stronger in the long term.
Khaira · 36-40, F
@Reject how come?
Reject · 31-35, M
@Khaira
It feels good to hate something negative in the moment, but you feel bad later.
It feels bad to love something negative in the moment, but you feel good later.
Iwillwait · M
Love is endless in strength.
Khaira · 36-40, F
@Iwillwait and there's limit in hate?
Iwillwait · M
@Khaira yeah, It's called "Love."
BrandNewMan · 61-69, M
Love .. but I love living well in front of a hater too
Khaira · 36-40, F

Love is the strongest power in the universe.
Khaira · 36-40, F
@H1raeth how come?
H1raeth · 36-40, M
@Khaira Cause God = Love
YoMomma ·
Love is less destructive
Khaira · 36-40, F
@YoMomma so basicly both are destructive
YoMomma ·
@Khaira not always..
Adogslife · 61-69, M
Love. Hate only destroys you from the inside.
Khaira · 36-40, F
@Adogslife how so?
Adogslife · 61-69, M
@Khaira That would depend on the origin of the hate. You could hate your parents for the way you were raised, for example. But, that bottled up anger is only hurting you. They’re oblivious. You become happier if you can forgive and move on. They’ll meet their maker.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
equal measures, but love leads to booping someone's nose, and hate leads to crushing it
Khaira · 36-40, F
@MartinTheFirst so hate is always destructive?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Khaira it can be reformative too, reforming the structure of your nose
