Do you think we divide ourselves with polarities no longer valid in modern life?

Those age old polarities: black, white, male, female; they have long undermined human progress and destiny, and are irrelevant in our lives, or are we happy ignorant of gender and race still?

IF they still divide us, then I guess they are valid in modern life. Desirable? No. Logical? No. Moral? No. But if we react to them, then they are valid in the sense that they affect our lives.
