Really?

We have a divisive President who is the front man for an authoritarian take-over by the Right (because the demographics were killing them).

If you disagree with him, you might be deported regardless of legality, etc.

These are our own American Fascist / White Nationalist times.
@SomeMichGuy I was asking as a citizen of the world. Would you believe we don’t talk about your president every single day in my country? It was a broad question, and my point was proven, thank you.
Many countries are experiencing a similar pattern of the rise of the far, fringe, totalitarian Right, @TangledUpInBlue, it's not just here, but my country's (former) position has made this impact far beyond our borders.

I don't think any country is untouched by the fallout of his abysmal time in office.
@SomeMichGuy absolutely but I think it’s both sides, very polarised. On the left or the right, what happened to the nuance of in between.
@TangledUpInBlue Because the extreme fringe Right is setting the yardstick and dividing ppl by their measures of loyalty.

I think it's ultimately due to not only loss of power but beibg scared of the future. So trying to turn the clock back by force is the only reaction.
