Would you say that you have a political identity?

There only seem to be three shades of political identity- left, right and centre. Obviously there are shades in the shades 😎 but essentially there are only three in essence.

In most places red suggests leftist, from the assumption that it is best represented in the Red Army of Communist Russia 🇷🇺 and its empire which was the Soviet Union.

Blue, the Right leaning of political ideology, also has a black blue from more nationalist views. The Right tend to be more conservative and small state oriented.

Yellow has been seen as a Centrist ideology, but they often bleach with other colours and there are more confused ideologies who say they are green.

More RED really, in terms of the UK and the Labour Party, but more about equality and respect of others. I'm certainly Anti-Nuclear, having been since I was single digit years old.

So, Left...but not Communist Left....a soft-ish left...with some Centralist/Liberal Dem/Green Party undertones.

🙂

@SammyJo There has been a lot of criticism here in Europe for your current government there in uk who have not shown any socialist values just centrist opportunism

@Zinvalla This is true, to a degree. I think there's a lot of 'trying to appeal to all', including Conservatives, rather than their own Labour OG maxims, but you could state also that, after having the debt that they didn't realise the previous government was in...having inherited that....they needed to get that sorted before they could do what they were elected to do.

For me, it's still a watch and wait.

@SammyJo All governments must have a struggle with debt because to raise taxes on people would soon prove disastrous and counterproductive

@Zinvalla Whilst this is true, dishonest accounting means that you have less money available, right? Just as if you went shopping, thinking you had £50 in your account when you find out, thankfully before you pay, that you only have £15...

@SammyJo When have governments ever spent their own money? They don’t behave in that way and I can see from my reading that the only politician who ever came near to your view was Margaret Thatcher

@Zinvalla I'm a whole 180 degrees away from that vile woman..
