I’m a realist who dreams of something better everyday.
I accept what I’m faced with, accept people as they are, accept rewards and consequences of choices I make, etc.
But I also look for what is possible for any given situation. I hope for the best in people around me.

@CookieCrumbs I can see all of that in you when I see your posts and how you talk to people. ❤️

I appreciate you saying that. 🌷
I’d say I’m hopeful but not a daydreamer. I live in the moment all the time, and that sometimes bother people who call it “positive thinking” to want the impossible. 😁

@CookieCrumbs Haha, all the people who say 'toxic positivity'? There is that but you can easily tell if someone is just parroting something they heard and think is hip to say and someone who is grounded in their words.

There are two kinds of toxic positivity.
One can just be saying the “right things” to make them appear like a positive person. But in reality, they can’t see the good in anything around them. They always see the bad side in people, or the hopelessness of their life situations.
The second is someone who expresses the positive affirmation to shape their mindset.

@CookieCrumbs Eventually though, a person cannot keep hiding. Their truth is always revealed. That doesn't mean that a positive person cannot have a bad day and react to their environment with negativity. I guess it's got to be weighed person to person.

I agree with you. And that’s why I observe people and look for consistencies in how they represent themselves (online or in real life interactions).
