Be wary of those that caution against new ideas as a matter of course

Those that say “it has gone too far” or “it is just too much” or “all can see this is wrong”.

All cannot see. We are blind and ignorant. We are less blind and ignorant than we were yesterday, but more so than we will be tomorrow.

The temporal nature of a thing is not the veracity of the thing.

Never trust those that say “we already understand this completely”, they wish only to keep you blind and ignorant.

Grow, flourish and explore. We owe that to our children, it is all we have.

And it is the only thing that makes any of this worth it.
