I HAVE A GREAT IDEA

The idea is for the government to pass legislation to create something called a destruction agency.

Basically instead of debt collectors to collect money or goods for owed money. The destruction agency has the legal authority to vandalize the debtors property until the value of destroyed goods and money owed is the same.

Imagine it, one company owes another money, some big guys show up at the office and smash up all the computers, printers, photocopiers, windows, picture frames, cups and other equipment.

It would not be legal for them to vandalize personal employees property, unless they also had a debt.

@smiler2012 You are arguing against a specific, poor, implementation of the idea. The question specifically says [i]debtor's property[/i] .

I think it is an interesting idea. Not necessarily a good one, but perhaps worth exploring in case it can illuminate what is right and wrong with current practice. For instance one might ask if current implementations have any similarities with the proposed method and whether this is a good or bad.

@ninalanyon seized property can be destroyed, illegal cars, fake designer items, illegal imports, these can be seized and destroyed so there already is a destruction agency
