Have you Ever Written a Letter

to someone who meant a lot to you? I wrote 2. One to my former VP who took a chance and hired me in a very male dominant position. It changed my life.

The second was to my Aunt Molly who was more than a mother to me than my real one.

I told her how I always listened to her advice. How I appreciated that she loaned me money to finish college (I paid her every dime back) and how much I loved her. She died of breast cancer but she did receive the letter before she passed away. Her daughter (My cousin) found it in her possessions) She told everyone how much it meant to her.

So...i know that writing is passe but tell someone how much they mean to you.

Writing a letter is like the bloom of a flower of life. Putting pen on paper is like painting a picture with colours of thoughts, gratitude , goodwill and love.
Emails and text & messages doesn't come close to it.

@Domking you are absolutely right. beautifully said.
I used to write my great grandmother after she moved closer to my grandparents in Northern Cali I went to see her before she died. She willed her house to my uncle. I'll never understand that.
