I Hear The Mail Truck, It’s About to Come Around the Corner…

Sometimes Boo-Boo will say “I hear it” when he hears the mail truck. He likes to listen to cars and other things when the birds are out in the sun room with the windows open.

@Atlotto They act like I am pointing a gun at them and freeze like a deer in the headlights. I have put a tape recorder next to their cage and they refuse to talk when they see it. Tried to record them with my phone and they do the same. Little stinkers.

@cherokeepatti I totally understand. I took a picture of my Oscars (fish) and they went crazy.

@Atlotto They aren’t scared of the phone or Ipad when I am playing videos of birds for them though. They love to watch them. I would show them videos of small parrots playing in various ways. One day Boo-Boo said “We don’t get to play” as though I should let them out to do what those little parrots do. They are much more calm and playful than these parakeets.

@Atlotto I’ve heard about how much Cockatiels love to play and talk. They are good companion pets.
