Is there anyway to opt out of advertisements/junk mail?

So I have health insurance with the company I work for. We'll call it ABC Health. I got a letter in the mail, not a bill, not anything to do with explanation of benefits,

This letter that I got talks about this physical therapy. It says after the first paragraph, our members see a pain reduction of 70% after just 8 weeks, because they do exercises whenever and wherever they want. Plus, it's available at no cost and you don't need a referral from a physician.

Then it lists, "What you get:" and it lists like 4 things a free guide for the exercise programs, an exercise program tailored just for you by a physical therapist.

I don't care about it. Isn't there some way I can tell this health provider to stop sending me this junk, or is it something they send out 'just because', and they're required to send this stuff out?

The problem is, I'm waiting for a bill to come in the mail from this health provider, since I had blood work done almost 2 weeks ago. So I'm stressing out about it. Just have some weird feeling it's gonna be $400+ dollars for blood lab, but I think last year it was only $124 dollars.

Can you pay online? See if you can go paperless.

@WonderGirl So here in the US what happens is, every November employers have what is called 'open enrollment'

What that means is, for almost the entire month, you have a chance to look at medical, dental, vision benefits, short term and long term disability benefits, voluntary life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment or AD&D insurance etc. If you decide to sign up for benefits through your employer, what happens is when you get your paycheck every 2 weeks, the money you pay in for those employer sponsored benefits automatically comes out of your paycheck.

So there's really nothing you can do to pay your benefits a different way because of how they come out of your check automatically. However, I'll have to look into if I can go paperless. Thanks 😊❤️

@twiigss I pay most of my medical bills online. I have a hospital bill. They are relentless. I am paying them off yet get a bill in the mail every month or more.

@WonderGirl yeah this wouldn't be medical bills this is insurance that my employer provides and it's my choice if I want to sign up for it or not. Sometimes it is a good idea to sign up for it because my medication is $400 without insurance.

But I do pay my bills online it's a lot easier.
