5 hours till the mail
The overnight span of time has flown by, 6:30am now
i am going to be doing a rotation medley of books, up to 7 at a time
1. Faithless
2. Pet Sematary
3. Mother Maggot
4. Dark Matter
3 open spaces, perhaps add one into the rotation each day, and be finishing something every other day, or 3rd day.
I am also much effected by the mail, when it comes, it will be a mixture of such elation and sadness, as there won't be more movies added for quite some time, when i do which could be as early as September will be The Funeral and Tampopo, 2 films by a certain Japanese director released by Criterion. Before i wasn't interested, Tampopo to be exact, as at those times The Funeral wasn't released yet seemed too light hearted, like a comedy.
Yes, it's i think a deep thought kind of rumination that all the comedy i need comes from the inside, and what i normally seek out are things from the darkest recesses of the human experience.
But the realization i had about 80 days ago was that i need to at least try to get and watch every Asian film i can, in the best editions possible. If there was no such thing as streaming, i could probably with ease sell all my non-Asian films and shows to speed up the process.
There's a part in Revelation where the sun is blotted out, i can only hope that during that time i can still be able to watch movies and enjoy the dark as much as i can, maybe that's why i sleep so much and so well, for then sleep would be out of the question, 10 movies a day during Lucifer's reign upon our planet.
