My mom doesn’t want me to get a job

But now the market opened up and I have my chance. I feel confused. I feel like a lot of the homeless shelters and welfare programs are there for people who really need it. Last time I was in the hospital it took so long to apply for housing that I just gave up. I currently live in a hotel and make ends meet through my savings. I think a lot of people need to get a job and I need to live by example by getting a job.
