i felt guilty yesterday

i was at the supermarket carpark, picking up my shopping bags and a homeless looking man approached me and asked did i have 1 pound, and i said i'm sorry i do not have any cash on me, only cards....he said ' it's okay' and went away, i said after him ' i would if i had it'...but i still felt guilty, i would love to do more to help british homeless people...i'm just sorry i didn't have any money on me.
