No! The house next to mine is trying to sell for just under 500,000! Its a tiny house at the end of the block. You barley get a front yard and most of the property is at the end of a slope. The backyard is a tiny alley and those who drive by almost hit the garage cause the angle is so tight. To park in the garage you need a small car and like a 3 point turn just to get in there.
For me it is. But I already live here and I planned well.😷

Yes. The city is still growing fast, and some affordable smaller houses are being built in the area.
Blessed to be in an area that still is but more affordable sustainable housing needs to be built.

Absolutely
Bought it before the recent eras of price gouging and inflation and got it at 1-1/2% interest rate

I'm fortunate my apartment is but the state has become one of the most expensive in the country. People don't come here. They are leaving.

well we own our lil place now but the house prices in general here are 4x what they used to be a few years ago .. our former house was 45k we sold it for 90k and it's valued at 180k now in just a matter of years .. 😳

so i guess vs other places it's still highly affordable as the same house would be upwards of 800k there 🙄 elsewhere

Housing prices here have gone way up over the past six years. They skyrocketed during Covid.

@Musicman Yes. Maybe the world should not go nuts over a cold.

In my area house prices are going down. That is because there are no jobs.

@emiliya Florida was one of the most open states during Covid. People from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania flocked down here in droves. The price of houses doubled.

It's not affordable to buy a new property in my city. If you already have some and want to live there, you're lucky. Otherwise I'd recommend to pick some other place to live.

@CrazyMusicLover Like a cabin in the woods? Why does anyone need to live in a city?
emiliya · 26-30, F
@CrazyMusicLover People's lungs turn into a black mess when they live in the city.
