Very gracious of you take on a responsibility like that. We're supposed to raise our own kids and be done with it, not have to start all over again when near retirement age.

Oh hell nah my kid better step the f up and be a parent. They had the kid, they need to own that and raise the kid too.

@Jonjdw it’s a really sad situation that you’re in and your grandchildren are in.
They need their mom. and your daughter needs her mom to guide her properly.
I think in all honesty you need to step up and put a stop to your wife enabling your daughter because as long as she continues doing that nothing will change and it’s only going to do a disservice to your grandchildren and your daughter.

@Jenny1234 I know she is involved. They know her as mommy. And me and my wife are nanny and pappy. My wife unfortunately seems to possibly have some mental issues too. She’s going to be hopefully soon be seeking help for her own issues. She just had an operation also. My wife is not as strong as she used to be.
