is it rude to tell someone they cant just invite themselves to stay at your house infinite months at a time? 😒

basically just presume to move into your house without first consulting the home owner? 😒 who obviously is inclined to say no.. (person previously stayed at another friends house for 9 months) 😒😵

I agreed to have a cousin from Sydney stay with me. She arrived with her friend and then soonafter her brother and his friend. I was in a small flat and told them I'd agreed to one, not 4 people and they ended up staying at a hostel and after a few days flying home as they said they couldnt afford to travel and pay accommodation. That was 15 years ago and I havent heard from them since.

@meggie that’s too bad.. i let my cousins stay with me but they were my cousins and we had an old house with with lots of room and rooms so it was fine 😅
