Is a large basement worth finishing for the resale value of the home??

I want to up the resale for the home. It's not for me. I don't know if I will gain money from finishing the basement or if it's not worth it doing at all

@WoWgirll Talk to a realtor if you can, they can get you comparables of recent sales in your neighborhood and give you a good idea if it will help your resale value. Just be sure to let them know you are not looking to go into contract yet just starting the process of it.
