Is a large basement worth finishing for the resale value of the home??

Is it worth it?

Depends; If it only has one bedroom then probably especially if you are in an area where you could rent the house out or to couples with kids. It looks like it could be made into a studio type with a small kitchen area if you could have a bedroom and small bath also.

@acpguy no dude it's 1700sqft with a partial kitchen, a bath and two or 3 bedrooms.
