So to get a replacement reverse cycle AC for my house will cost me A$3k

Hmmmm be nice to have that sort of money spare. At least I know the cost and can try to save for it maybe b4 our summer.. Won't get it in for the current winter.

That seems cheap to me, but maybe I'm not understanding, is this a full AC unit for an entire house?

Or just a part?

@sstronaut full reverse cycle split system for my small 3 br house with a roughly 60 to 70 m sq floor area. Ducted system would be 5+ times as much.

@zonavar68 Awe that's it, I'm thinking of a ducted system and don't know what a reverse cycle split system is.
