I would prefer that it was facing south so the flower beds in the front and back yard would get better light. The roses planted on both the sides of the house as it is facing west do really well. The front flower beds get too much sun in the afternoon and it’s hard on the plants especially when we have a heat wave. Haven’t been much interested in planting things the past few years but maybe next year.
