Just a helpful hint for a slow-moving drain

Before dumping chemicals down the drain, try closing the drain and fill the entire sink with hot water. Once filled, shut off the water and open the drain. The weight of the water will force out any clogs. You may have to do this twice.

I did this to my bathroom sink yesterday, and it worked like a charm.

Another way is to get a plastic long thin thing, thin enough to get through one of the sinks holes, and make cuts in the plastic with a knife, all its length. Hair and such things will get stuck there as you pull it in and out the sink and it's going to take out some of the load. I treated my bathtub like that in the past, a friend told me about the trick.
