I totally recommend getting one or many of these fans for each room of the house if you don't have central air conditioning?

Get a window unit.

I bought a portable AC last year, and its one of the best things I've ever bought. It came with a big vent hose that attaches to windows. It's super easy to move it from room room. It lowers my AC costs and paid for itself in two months.

I highly recommend them.

We tried those then decided to get portable air conditioners. They're awesome!
