No one I know in Europe uses a top sheet. We all sleep under duvets. Filled with goose down in my case.

@ninalanyon And fitted bottom sheets?

@ArtieKat Quite a few do use them here in Norway, especially on single beds. Many just tuck a flat sheet under the mattress topper if the topper is thick and heavy enough, at least that's what I do.

@ninalanyon I've been using fitted bottom sheets for between 40 and 50 years I would guess.

@ArtieKat They never seem to fit properly for me. Perhaps because our double bed is actually two singles bolted together so not quite the right size for king size fitted sheets and impractical for fitting a pair of singles (we'd have to uncouple the beds to change the sheets).

@ninalanyon Sorry to laugh but they are made for standard sizes!
