HOA General Assembly

It feels more like a courtroom with this attorney making a fuss about every little detail of the by-laws.

I have an HOA and it’s tedious and contentious and altogether riveting to me. But then I’m very odd—I enjoy the challenges of determining collective action

Home owners associations are crazy lol lots of them are just nosy neighbors with nothing better to do than to be up in your business

So far, I haven't had problems with anyone. So it’s fine haha.

What's that?

@Allelse

“ An HOA, or homeowners association, is a self-governing organization in “common-interest” communities where homeowners collectively pay fees to maintain the units or neighborhood. HOAs are typically run by resident homeowners, unpaid volunteers who are elected to a board of directors that oversees the HOA’s management.

Properties within an HOA are governed by a collective set of rules and bylaws that are enforced by the association. Each property owner is required to pay HOA fees that cover use and maintenance of common areas. These areas can include swimming pools, parks, parking lots and roads, as well as communal lawn maintenance and landscaping.”

@Menetics Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Right, now I'm with you. They get all pissed off when you have the wrong kind of grass.
I’d never by property that is part of a home owners association.
They all corrupt Nazis.
