What material is it in your duvet covers?

I'm very hot and I need a thin cooling duvet cover. I bought one second hand that I love. But turns out it was a kids size cover and I found no indication on the sort of material it was. All I know is it was very light, thin and smooth and probably made for sensitive children's skin.

High thread count cotton is thing I go for, higher thread count makes for smoother fabric.

@Queendragonfly 200/300 will be enough unless you want heavy bedding. I'd try a 200 and see what you think, go to a posh department store if you can and give em a feel.

@Queendragonfly Good quality bedding usually lists the thread count on the packaging but nothing beats a good grope for getting the "right" one...

Also look for the words Egyptian cotton, that is also a sign of good quality fabric.

I have a cooling bamboo blanket I use when I’m hot. It makes you feel cooler than having no blanket.

I just use a sheet. Unless my butt is covered i cant sleep.

I don't use one anymore. I just got tired of waking up to find it on the floor next to my bed. Nowadays, if I get cold at night, I grab a top sheet.

@LordShadowfire I have very few top sheets since we have a king size matress we bought recently. And the other duvet covers are too hot!
