I Finally Broke Down and Turned On The Heat….

The Temperature was 65F. On the thermostat and I set the heat to 67F. Didn’t want my joints to swell in my hands and feet especially. It’s been windy all day and in the 30’s so I guess it is time. Picked up the boy from school because the school texted and said the buses would be 45 minutes late and made him cocoa when we got home. Chicken soup for dinner cooking on the stove. Will be baking other foods later.

I have mine on last month as I don't pay electric so I use it

@Lilnonames I don’t blame you. I lived in two different apartment complexes for about 17 years all bills paid so I was comfortable and even in the summer baked and cooked as much as I wanted. When I moved to this house and started paying bills I had to learn to conserve better.

@Lilnonames I would love to have a set up with a wood-burning stove in the living area, brick or tile floors to make it safer and plenty of room around it too.
