How do you know when you’ve found home?

Home is where YOU make it. I have had many homes over the years. In some I never felt comfortable. But you do have to realize that you are the center of your own home, and if you surround yourself with your personal comforts, you can find a home almost anywhere.

Home can be found in a few things I feel not only in buildings. I’ve recently found “home” in a new friendship with a beautiful soul. We’ve both clicked & it feels so comforting. He’s grounded me & we are looking forward to getting to know each other better. I don’t think it (home) lasts forever as nothing ever does but it lasts as long as it’s meant too like everything✨

Maybe some of us never do.

Some years ago I was looking after my mother and when she died I moved house. For two or three years I told people when I was out that I was going back to the flat, then suddenly one day I found myself telling people when I was out that I was going home 😃 👍
