Who despises emptying the dishwasher?

It only takes a few minutes!!

Me. When anyone else does it, they always make it a point to let me know, like they did me a favor.
I hate the unloading more than the loading. Knowing I'm just going to put it all back again within a days time. Sick of the repetition.

What bothers you about it? I kind of like the idea of all those squeaky clean items of tableware and cookware going into their cupboards, ready to be used again.

I hate hand-washing dishes but i don't mind stacking and unstacking the dishwasher. We all have things that annoy us i suppose.

You can handwash your dishes like a peasant

You should have someone doing those menial tasks for you, while you wait in bed!

We unload and load by hand in the sink

For some reason I do hate to unload the dishwasher more than loading it. However our kitchen is small so there is a place for everything but it has to be put away in an exact order so it fits. My SIL often tried to empty it only to be frustrated when she couldn't get everything put away properly.

For me it’s less that I despise it, and more that I live alone so no point in trying to dirty enough stuff to run it.

Also my cat chitters when I load/unload the dishwasher, so even more incentive to hand wash the four things I’ll dirty on any given day instead 🤷‍♂️

Be glad you have a dishwasher. A lot more work if you had to do everything by hand.

I use my dishwasher as a large drying rack.... no need to empty that way

Loading it is the absolute pits for me.

Tell them no chores done, no dinner.

I despise all chores.

I just hand wash then and leave them in the strainer. Cleaner dishes.
