We have a lot of space over here, with a lot of really, really tiny towns spread around the country and there are certain side-effects.

Most of our heating architecture is based on running hot water through pipes, warmed by near-by power plants. This produces a bit of excessive power, but also very hot water to circulate around the small town areas, such as this one.

Now, there are both good and bad sides to this particular approach. First being, that I don't need any electrical heating, since I have hot water running through the pipes, connected to the radiators. The bad side is they need to be monitored and remotely fixed, if and when the need rises. However, the actual downside is, that although we have very good standards, per se, for the floor sound insulation... Both our ventilation systems and the pipes cause sometimes a bit of... Well... Havoc.

Right now, I just heard a guy, who is a pretty cool dude as such, playing his electric guitar two floors up...

Obviously we have rules for silence periods, but when people get to a fight at some point of the night... Yikes.

@SW-User I'm glad I live far enough away from your neighbors as well, so... Torture them as you please. Make them Beta testers.
