Alrighty folks, what will it be: Black or White?

I like wood grained interior trim the black goes well

Now that the kids are out of the house, I can have nice things... I believe I'd go with white.

It’s a bit low but I’d base it on whether I’d pets and stuff eg if you’ve a white dog the hairs will show on the black more etc and what colour the rest of your room is

Not a fair comparison. The black couch sits in a room full of contrasting colors and textures while the white looks washed out in the bland environment it is displayed in.
