Does your home have air conditioning, or do you just throw open all the windows to allow airflow?

I’m sure lots of American homes have a/c but a lot of European homes don’t.

We are spoiled, relatively rich compared to most of the world.

AC is a mixed blessing, matter and energy really cannot be created de novo. If the inside air is cooled, it results in the outside air getting hotter. The overall problem worldwide is that to produce the energy to cool inside requires the generation of electricity which then uses fossil fuels and worsens global climate change. We cannot air condition ourselves out of the problem.
