Wood grain all the way babiiiiiiiiii. Marble goes in the bathroom

@MartinTheFirst in south Texas it’s common to have tile in every single room …too hot for carpet

@Mindful Carpet sucks tho... wood grain is good☺️

It's becoming a thing now. I think it's cheaper than replacing carpets especially for those that rent @Mindful
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Spoiledbrat pretty sure carpet is less expensive than quality wood or marble
Spoiledbrat · F
@MartinTheFirst I was thinking tile that looks like marble. I wasn't thinking tbh but I know the look is getting popular. I assumed it was because carpet doesn't stay nice long especially if you're renting your place out. You can't trust renters to take care of it.

@Spoiledbrat Yeah that's true, it can't be cheap. In a rental it's probably the safest bet to go with hard-floor, but in an average home it should be cheaper with carpet. Plastic carpet is very popular in rentals though, cheap to change and clean.

@MartinTheFirst plastic carpet , is that polyester?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Mindful PVC flooring

@Spoiledbrat it’s easier to clean tile, especially if you have pets that shed. Pets are a thing. Tile doesn’t rip or tear or stain like carpet. Anything can stain or spill on carpet.

@Mindful Yeah but I hate it. It's ugly. It's not that easy to clean from day to day. You'd have to mop it. It's easier to vacuum. I hate mopping my kitchen. Sometimes I have to clean it myself on my hands and knees or just bend over because the mopping pushes the dirt to the edge or around. I spray the floor with something and wipe it about once a month. It hurts my back. lol I'm old.

@Spoiledbrat .... go on 🥴
