Received electricity bill. I open the attachment, $4864. 🫣 😄
Never received one like this afore, 🙃.
Obviously, this is the total for all 30 units. I open the other attachment, $47.26. This is my share.

Just curious where you live - state

In Western Australia, rental units can have separate electricity meters, but it is not mandatory for all properties. If the premises are separately metered, the tenant is typically liable for all consumption charges. If the meter is shared, the landlord must detail in the tenancy agreement how charges will be calculated and divided.

Water is from one meter; water usage is divided by 30.

@ninalanyon I live alone, rather frugally, missing out on nothing I want. I have an air conditioner running in the summer. Electric heaters in the winter.
Been here more than 11 years, highest 2 monthly bill was $64 last year.

@ShenaniganFoodie My electric is around $100 a month in Winter and I just paid $73 today in summer. But in addition I pay about $70 every 2 months for gas, which is hot water, plus ducted heating I rarely use, and reverse cycle air throughout. (Thank goodness for solar panels) Thats a rather large home of course.😷
