robertsnj · 56-60, M
1500 plus miles away i feel sorrow for people who live in the 30's and beyond where they grew up--i get teh comfort aspect but hope at least in some ways you can see beyond your town --even if it is frequent travel
Musicman · 61-69, M
@robertsnj You are further away than me. I am only 957 miles away.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
I was born on a farm and the farmhouse is long gone, torn down in the 60’s after we left the farm.
lilylovesgaming1986 · 36-40, F
@cherokeepatti at time's I'll ride my bike over to the house I grew up in. My mom moved like 20 year's ago
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@lilylovesgaming1986 that must be nice. The house we lived in east of this city was moved or torn down maybe 15 years ago and replaced with something else. I looked at it on Google earth. And the house I lived in after getting married in the 70’s is also gone.

I moved from that town when I was 1. I have no memory of it and have no attachment to it. The town I grew up in is a very different story.
eyeno · M
Nope moved away 50 yrs ago.
I've cut all ties and don't care to even visit it again...
(in my youth did have lots of fun though)

GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
Yeah pretty much. I was born in the city, live in the suburbs 15min away.
I do, but I came back after living in other cities. I also live in a much different neighborhood from where I grew up.
No. Dad moved us when I was 2 ans never went back.
specman · 51-55, MVIP

Musicman · 61-69, M
I actually never lived in the town I was born in. That town just had the closest hospital.
lilylovesgaming1986 · 36-40, F
@Musicman my town just has a small family own doctor office
Musicman · 61-69, M
@lilylovesgaming1986 I lived in the Washington DC suburbs. In those days there were only two hospitals in the suburbs of Virginia. Today there are quite a few.
