Each has its attributes and drawbacks. It's not a simple one or the other choice.

House is a lot of upkeep apartment rents always go up it's a queen toss are you able to do the basic repairs or fourth basic repairs yearly for a house.

House for sure. I like the idea of homeownership so you build equity overtime. Eventually, you have something very valuable paid off

We live in a ground floor apartment with a garden.
I think that if we could have lived in a house we would have preferred to.

Apartments when you’re young and until you’re financially ready for a good house. Or that’s just me 😝
