Can you renovate a condominium from the inside?

If you buy and own a condo full-out,can you alter it and change the construction from the inside?(Of course,that would be predicated on your paying for it!)

@Human1000 What exactly did you change?
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@DavidT8899 Not walls, but could have if they were not load bearing. We did everything else.

@Human1000 Interesting.

@DavidT8899 Cost a bloody fortune, too.
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@Human1000 How much,if I may ask?
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@DavidT8899 We did floors, two bathrooms, kitchen, paint, fireplace. About 120k. Got three bids all around the same.

@Human1000 How much to do you think it would cost the owners to gut and change EVERYTHING,including the walls?
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@DavidT8899 How many bathrooms? How many walls? You can use my figure as a starting point.
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@Human1000 You’ll need HOA approval, too. Permits as well.
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@Human1000 Well,of course you'd need approval.Lets say three bedrooms,three bathrooms and as many walls as needed.

@DavidT8899 Bedrooms aren’t redone, really, but a full redo on a bathroom without cheeping out is about 25k each. Taking out a a bunch of walls maybe 15k.
