I heard a siren, sounded like a fire truck stop near the house.

I couldn't see the firetruck so I ignored it. Dear wife and I were going to walk to the store just up the street and as we came around the corner we heard a second firetruck then a third then a fourth then an ambulance. They were all gathered by a the apartment block near our house. One the way back from the store we saw 5 firetrucks and ambulance and a gas company truck that had shut off the natural gas to the apartment block. We could see a burned apartment on the second floor and saw the residents all standing in the parking lot. I do hope everyone is safe and can find accomodation for the night.
