New years eve

I can't recall the last time I had an actually enjoyable Christmas or Nye with a romantic partner who genuinely cared for and appreciated me for me. It's a foreign concept now.

I had my 8 yo daughter with me this time. But no intimate partner.

Never been married.

I always ring in the New Year with friends. No midnight kiss and there hasn't been in more years than I care to count. I don't figure there ever will be again. 🤷🏼‍♀

my wife is a nurse and was on nights last night so i did not get to see the new year in with her.
