I wish he was there. Even though we weren’t together yet and he was still a friend of one of my sister’s friends, I think he would’ve loved it. Call me weird, but now I’m just imagining in an alternate reality, him and I dancing to the band covering “Fairies Wear Boots.” Frickin’ everyone got on the floor to dance when they played that number and you can bet I would’ve been dragging him there to dance with me whether he liked it or not.
Ugh, that was such a fun night! I’ll never forget it. I only wish he was at least there so we could’ve experienced it together. Again, if we weren’t a couple yet, it would’ve been fun recalling it with him now.
