I have always wondered if certain Persians worshiped even older holidays, far older than Zoroastrianism. Like from Sumeria:

Akitu
Zagmuk
Nammu
Guda
Shulgi

Yes some of these are deities. Yet they have corresponding times and seasons.

@DeWayfarer Yes, it's possible. Before Cyrus united Persia, each region of Persia probably had its own costumes and traditions.

I'm referring to around ... 4100-1750 BCE. Quite a time difference. 😊
