1966. I was playing music and making money at it and on TV and the radio. I discovered Buddhism and it made sense. I had a girlfriend who put out. I saw Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles twice. That was really the last good year of my life. I was 16. It's been downhill ever since. Now I'm just a pitiful broken-down old man with arthritis and no hope.

@hunkalove yh the youth years do tend to be better and that heavily correlated to less responsibility and less experience. I’m sorry to hear life hasn’t gone the way you planned it’s unfortunate but your arthritis doesn’t have to define you or any hardships life throws at you the fact that your still hear shows how much strength you have and must have some hope to still be here and not give up.

@Adwoa I don't consider Buddhism a religion. Buddha was a human being who wanted to find the meaning of life and Buddhism is what he found. No faith or belief or hope required. Sometimes I hurt so bad i can hardly walk. I have always been a great reader and a writer but I can't read real books anymore, only my tablet. I'll be glad when this miserable life is over. I hope my next one is better. And hopefully not as an American again.
