2016, I moved out of my parents house and lived the college life.
I felt like I finally had the opportunity to go out a see whole new world. Met new people who I now consider family ♥️ Good times

@Adwoa I loved it
I’m sorry to hear that ☹️ Traditional schooling isn’t for everyone though, I have a few friends who learned trades and they’re happier and debt free unlike me 😂

@SW-User right! I use to wonder why certain people opted out of college but after going college and not necessarily having the best experience even still looking for grad job now kinda wish I took their routes. 😅

I think 1994. The world seemed on the verge of positive change, I had a good group of friends, and I was about to go off on a gap year :)

Any time in the 90's. I remember the positive messages about world peace and helping kids, but now that feels like it was an illusion. It could be my age too. Also, good music.

@SW-User I think it was a bit rose-tinted, tbf

@SW-User yeah I think you're right. It certainly didn't hold up to the hype.

1966. I was playing music and making money at it and on TV and the radio. I discovered Buddhism and it made sense. I had a girlfriend who put out. I saw Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles twice. That was really the last good year of my life. I was 16. It's been downhill ever since. Now I'm just a pitiful broken-down old man with arthritis and no hope.

@Adwoa I don't consider Buddhism a religion. Buddha was a human being who wanted to find the meaning of life and Buddhism is what he found. No faith or belief or hope required. Sometimes I hurt so bad i can hardly walk. I have always been a great reader and a writer but I can't read real books anymore, only my tablet. I'll be glad when this miserable life is over. I hope my next one is better. And hopefully not as an American again.

2019, it was so wild that year. I went to Iceland, Norway and Sweden in the winter time like as crazy person. A few months later I went to Ireland and the UK, then in December I went to Wuhan 😶 and never caught covid
