Tracos · 51-55, M
alone... for the first time ever.. all alone..
@Tracos Like Christmas Day for me. Never been alone before. There are lots of alone people. 1 + 1 = ?
Hanging out with the dog in the master bedroom with the door closed and the TV BLARING to drowned out the sound of the fireworks......

A twice a year ritual.....
Bella112 · 36-40, F
@Threepio the other time is 4th of july?
@Bella112 Yes.
Like a lot of people, I shall just do my college work and wake up tomorrow and think Oh it's 2021. And get out my books and carry on. How does a date on a calendar change anything?
chrisCA · M
At home, watching celebrations on TV, with a bottle.
@chrisCA What's to celebrate anyway?
chrisCA · M
@LilirWyddfa Such a negative attitude.
@chrisCA I have a very positive attitude but it's not just this year,I have never really understood why a change of the date on a calendar is cause for celebrating. I celebrate each new day. Do you? Or do you have a negative attitude when you wake up and it's time to go to college or whatever you do?
Keeper · M
Eating and drinking too much - as usual 🙄
Gangstress · 41-45, F
@Keeper this is the thing to do lol
Keeper · M

Alone, but not lonely. May join in the family Zoom time for the end of the year or may try to watch a film through the midnight hour. I might even come on here and talk to those who are already in 2021 or those still waiting to catch up when we've spun that far.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
The usual way: quietly, with my wife. We'll have a drink at midnight, but it will not be a "wild time". I will cook a nice supper.
The same way as usual; I'll meditate and go to bed on New Year's Eve, and get up the next morning, and it will be a new year.
It's tomorrow. I shall do my college work and just go to bed the normal time and awake thankful it isn't 2020.
ThoughtGuy · 26-30, M

I thought you and I were getting together to smoke j’s and watch funny movies?
At home, watching the Twilight Zone and waiting to get a year older. This time alone, which bites. 🥺
