His coming would mean nothing had it not been for resurrection day! This proved to the world he is God all by himself! And he did just what he said he’d do. Without his death, we’d all be lost! He paid the sin debt that man could not pay.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I see. Lots of people say at Christmas time here in the states, “Happy Holidays” and many times they spell Christmas ~ XMas. Some really try hard to stamp Christ out of everything. But he won’t be tucked away. I assure you and the rest of the world, He’s alive and well… sitting at the right hand of God making intercession for the saints. He’s sitting high and looking low.
As for Easter, school and university breaks are no longer calling them Easter break but “Spring break”.
Again, the US nor Australia will tuck him away. He’s the victor and after while he will show us all just who he really is!

Easter and especially Christmas were formed out of pagan Roman holidays.
While I understand the Christian meanings and/or message these holidays represent, I feel these holidays are unnecessary. No where in the Bible are we told to celebrate or worship Christ's birth, death, or resurrection.

@Unefilletrescurieuse Not just opinion. Easter and especially Christmas were formed out of pagan Roman holidays. That's a documented fact.
